Mine has a solenoid valve in between the horns and the tank, thus, a way to release the air from the tank when power is given to it. But you can probably do it however you think will work.

Just make sure it can handle the PSI.

i would say you would hook it up the same way others have their train horns hooked up so the members that have them could possibly steer you in the right direction, and like BlackedoutHemi said.....make sure your psi is not too high

I would honestly go with the same setup I've got going on with those 4 horns. It has a 150PSI compressor hooked up to a 2 gal tank, with a high pressure tubing ran to the solenoid valve on the frame (Which is rated to handle up to 190PSI, a little leeway), and then tubing rated to handle the PSI at that point to each horn. Its EXTREMELY loud.

I have a 200 psi Viar 480 C compressor and a 1.5 gallon tank with 1/2" lines.Depends on the mounting location(bed) on the tank.I went with the 1.5 so I could mount everything under the air damn.I get a 7 second blast so you might want to go 3 gal or even 5 if you want a longer blast before refills.I have a 230 psi pressure switch and an inline solenoid.

Mine is 157 db and loud.

Hope this helps.
