Some play in front brake calipers within caliper bracket (while wheels off), normal?

The RAM I recently acquired needed pads rotors and a fluid flush.
I did it all this weekend. The caliper frame bolts were tight and the caliper-to-caliperframe bolts were tight as well. Yet there was some play in the caliper within the caliper frame.
Is this because I pushed the pistons all the way back and now there's a bit of space between the pistons/pads and rotor?
I'm asking because in over a dozen brake jobs I've done (none on a RAM), I've never seen this.

Should go away once you pump the brakes back up. Doesn't sound unusual to me since you had to push the pistons back into the calipers for the new pads.
