Will a 315/50r20 fit under a 2002 SLT Quad Cab? Currently have NO spare tire :sleepy10: and want to get one...

I have seen folks put 35x12.5x18 under there. The proximity to exhaust pipe was the problem for me.

I think the previous owner cut the cable under the truck, I will have to check later. I might be completely SOL on this one.

As far as size goes like previously said the exhaust clearance is usually the issue. You can replace the cable lift if the cable was cut, it bolts in. I personally carry two spares, one on the cable and one strapped in the bed along the side so that's an option if you don't want to replace the tire lift.

Stock full size spare on a 3rd gen is either 275/55R20 or 275/60R20 (mine is the 55). Diameter is the big thing, especially if you have dual exhaust.

I'll snap one for you later today, but it'll only work on a long bed. I probably should have mentioned that. The spare fits between the wheel well and the front of the bed, then just looped a strap through the hub hole to the corner tie down.

On my short bed 1500 I had the spare against the back wall of the bed strapped the same way though.
