Stripe Color

Hi guys, truck is being striped next Thursday but can't decide on whether to go with carbon fiber or white. Please chime in with an opinion.

I think the white looks more traditional, and works better with the black thing-a-ma-bob you got goin on there under the bumper. Can't recall what it's called lol.

Yeah the white is more traditional but man that carbon fiber looks sweet.

Either would look good but I def like the carbon fiber better. Are your wheels black? I can't remember.

To me, the black stripes are lost where they meet the black grille inserts and give it an odd appearance.

On aesthetics alone, the white stripes look better. Thematically, the black stripes suit the truck, given black wheels. Tough call, but I vote White.

EDIT: Looking at again, the black stripes would stand out better if the grille inserts were body-colored.

I see what bugs me about the CF stripes. It's an optical illusion when you look from a distance (or a smaller picture), the eyes want to complete the stripe all the way down. But it gets muddled when it hits the inserts. It neither "pops" nor blends with the matte black since the CF has more grayness nor is sufficiently bold to play off the red. I concede it is 2D, so it's not going to show it to the best effect.

You probably already ruled it out, but if you did that in PS, it would be interesting to see a gloss black version.

Hey can you please share where you got those headlight covers at???? I love the look they give the lights.

My truck is Flame Red aswell. Your front end looks nasty!!!
