They worked right out of the box.... kinda. When I turned on the truck the lamp out popped up, but soon as I turned on the lights it went away. I fixed it by using the capacitors from my old kit, no problems now. Allthough they havent been on quite long enough to tell if its gonna flicker or not, but ill find that out tonight.

And for you AF, you were wondering how the turn signal would look with it all painted, well in direct sunlight, not great.

Thanks! Ive been in ohio until yesterday. Thats why I sent them out early so I would have no downtime without headlights.

Yeah I was thinking that the canbus system doesn't sense any resistance or power in the circuit until they come on. So putting in those capacitors keeps a little juice in the circuit to trick it.

looks good man

leds may be brighter for the turn signal, but you would have to add a resistor to the turn circuit
you can find some pretty good ones on ebay

NICE!

Weird on the harness........seems to be hit or miss (and it only worked on 1 of 3 so far). On the 06-08s I put resisters on them, without them it flickered......but no lamp out.

Oh well - good think I moved to Todd's setup for the group buy!

And yeah..........those blinkers suck dude. LOL
