Currently I have a vinyl cover. It has done the trick, but I am looking to get something a bit more secure, and ascetically pleasing.

I've been looking at fiber glass, the roll and lock type, and a diamond plate style.

Generally speaking, I only keep detailing supplies, some fold up chairs, and a pop up tent in my bed. I've been giving some thought in the future to doing to A/V stuff in the bed...but that's in the air.

What are you guys running? Pro/cons

You should do a fiberglass one

if you plan to do a/v stuff back there a fiberglass tonneau is your best bet.

Id say fiberglass as well. Check craigslist around here. I've seen a bunch of the for 300-500 bones. Just don't have the money myself to get one

i used to have a fiberglass lid and hated it. always got in the way whenever i had to move something taller than the bed.

i had both a fiberglass and an undercover and the undercover is way better. really light and easy to remove. once off you can carry it yourself. my fiberglass one looked good but where it curved and met the bed it started to develop surface cracks right on the curved part.

Retrax kicks aXX..

I've had mine since I bought my '07 1500.. moved it to my '06 3500 last year. The only catch is when there's ice, it doesn't like to roll so nice.. other than that, I've never had an issue, and it's always been secure!

Those Undercovers are nice!!
