Looking to buy a set of 295/70/18s of either tire. Price difference between the sets is about 150 bucks.
How's the ride with the Trail Grapps? How's the tread life? Are they loud?
There's no doubt they look better than Terra Grapps, just not sure which to get.

I have the Terra Graps and they are pretty quiet.
Not too bad in the snow considering the size of them 295/60/20.
I would expect that the trails would be louder and likely better in the snow.

Yea I have terra grapps too in 305/60/18. Looking for bigger though. I like the performance and ride of the terra grapps, but love the look of trail grapps.

Trails run smooth as far as noise just a little not bad. but then again I'm only running 305/55 20's.

I have the 285/70/17 terra grapplers. Very nice tire. Quiet and smoothe. I have 2wd been in some nasty stuff and didn't get stuck. Love the tread pattern.

If you stay more in the highway, I would suggest the Terra's. And if you want a more aggressive set of tires, choose the Trail Grapplers.

When I worked at discount tire, a customer was able to push em to 40k, which is really good for an m/t in my opinion

They do, which is why, in my opinion, nitto is the best brand for a/t's and m/t's

I've had terra, trails, and mud grapplers. My vote for best between the 3 were the trails. They were fairly quiet and couldn't beat the look.

Like most m/t tires, rotate them every 3k and keep good psi in them and they will last. I only had mine for about 3 months before I went bigger, so I can't say how long they would have gone. I'm at almost 32k with my mud grapplers and will get 40k out of them like I wanted. Discount tries to tell me rotate a m/t every 6k, but I ignore that and do 3k, and I'd say it is paying off for me.

Oh by the way, I hated the terra grapplers. I'll never buy them again.

I rode the trails in a 305/55/20 for about 23 000kms and they had 13/32 left when I stold them to get GY wrangler duratracs because of winter laws up here. Loved the trails very nice looking tire, weren't too loud I expected alot worse. I would def go trail grapps

I had both on my truck ....trails looks better, handle better off road and offer a somewhat quiet ride for an M/T tire. I put about 12k miles on them and they still had about 85% tread left. They are however bad in rain, get horrible mpgs(which is to be expected) and throw rocks like a mother!

The terras are a great all around A/T tire..still look good, handle better on road, quieter, and are a better fuel friendly tire! They aren't as good off road but hey its an A/T so....

So it all boils down to what you do most! On road or off road!!??

Well I think I've made up my mind. Gonna be 295/70/18 Trails. Although I'm on road 100% of the time, I wouldn't be happy with the look of Terra(i have them now). Just gonna wait for black Friday to see about any deals.
