Upper control arms

I've noticed after looking around at the parts stores that they offer the upper control arm for our trucks in cast iron and aluminum. Mine has the aluminum control arms. My question is, is there a difference in the two besides the metals and weights?

I didn't see a difference besides the metal. My stockers were aluminum, the ones that are on there are steel, but looked identical.

I guess some years and models just came with the steels? Guess it comes down to cost then since they're different materials which is not much
