Upside down?

If the caliper is on the rear of the axle then no; if it's forward of the axle then yes it is.

It seems like that line should be on the top side, being so low I would think it might get caught on something. Thanks for the reply I'm new too the ram trucks.

You can't install them any other way. The driver's side is on the bottom, the passenger's side is on the top.
