Im sure this question was already answered but i really need some expert wheel help. I am about to order a new set of rims for my truck, the Moto Metal MO961, and I need help to figure out the offset. I want to get either the 18x10 -24offset or 18x9 18offset, I just dont no what would be best for my truck and how far they would stick out past the fender. Also I plan on running the Toyo AT2 35x12.5xR18. Thanks in advance for the help!

The lower the offset the more they stick out but also too low of an offset is bad news bears for some components like bearings. I've always been a fan of -12 offsets because its not too low as to where the wheels are just hanging out there but still gives an aggressive stance. Here are some pics of my old 3rd Gen with -12 offset and 4 1/2 back spacing. The tires are 295/70/17 on 17x9's Nitto Terra Grapplers and Trail Grapplers.

So if his backspacing was 4.75 or 5" would it stick out farther than yours?

Depends on the offset. But probably not because then there is more space on the back side for it to hug the hub.

I was looking at a wheel set that was backspaced 4.75 and the offset was -6.6. Didn't want to hijack his thread but still wanted an answer to my question lol. Sorry.

I do not but there's some pictures of some diesels with -25 and like half the tread is hanging out. Don't know how a 1/2 ton truck looks with those, sorry.

I have +20offset rims but I added 1inch spacers to compensate for it so technically I am a - 5mm offset with spacer included.
