im looking at a set of 17x9 rims with a -12 offset will these still allow me to clear 35x12.50 with no rubbing? I have no rubbing now with the 6" lift but not sure what the specs are on my rims other than they are 17x9.

Hmm, not sure but I know there is a way you can take your wheel off and measure the offset on them

Got any pics of this thing? I have a 6" BDS lift with 37's and the rims are 20x10 -18 offset no rub.I do have 5100's set at 2.8" but before the 5100's it did not rub then either.

I would say they should fit yours with no problem.

got pics of what the rim or my lift?

ok did some quick research and from what i can find -12 offset on a 9" wide rim is 4.5 backspacing. And from what i have seen most lifts recommend 4.5b.s.

Here's some comparo's for you regardless of wheel diameter: (pulled from a taco forum.)

10" wide, 4.5" BS= -24mm offset
--------, 5" BS= -12mm offset

9" wide, 4.5" BS= -12mm offset
--------, 5" BS= 0mm offset
--------, 4" BS= -24mm offset

8" wide, 4.5" BS= 0mm offset
--------, 5" BS= +12mm offset
--------, 4" BS= -12mm offset
