O guys new to a dodge so I have a 2007 15004x4 that has 35/12.50/20's on it. I am trying to find a smaller rim like 17" or 18" . I need help with the back spacing and width of the rim. I want to run the 35/12.50 still but i dont know what offset or backspace i need to have to work. i bought the truck the way it sits. tire now clear no *** of any type. it does have a por comp 6" lift on itand that is it. the back of the tire is 1" or less away from the control arm now. So if i run the 35/12.50 on a 17x9 rim what is the backspace offset????

I'm lost here lol use to mustangs and slicks not mud tires of this size

These are 17x9's with 4.5" and -12mm offset with 295/70/17 Nitto TerraGrappler tires. Plenty of room to avoid rubbing but the lower offset the more the wheels are pushed away from the chassis which makes them stick out.

It really depends on how you want them to sit on the truck. Stock is 20x9 +19m and you will need at least a 6mm(1/4") lower offset to clear the tires. I like a wider stance, so I would go with anything with a +6 offset to -24mm in a 9" wide wheel.

Also when looking at tires some have a "side biter" sidewall like the Nitto TrailGrapplers so that will also play into which offset you go with because those have more of a chance of rubbing than the smooth side wall all terrain tires.
