2005 door panel swap to 2007

I recently purchased a 2005 ram single cab and was wondering if I could put some 2007 ram single cab door panels in place of my 2005 ones I like the new style better has anyone tried doing this?

They should work theoretically. Same sheet metal as far as body.

Agreed. These should fit with minor differences.

Some of the switch panel sizes may be different depending on the options that were on the donor truck.

Fit yes, but they may not look right, as they changed the styling and colors on the entire interior in 06. Do you have the ability to hold one up and compare?
