My 2006 Dodge quad cab when I'm stopped at a light , the air conditioner starts blowing humid warm air. But when I'm driving it's cold as can be. What is the problem?

Most likely low refrigerant or the condenser cooling fan isn't working properly

Thanks crash68 . When compressor runs the gauge says it's good on charge. So I'm thinking something else. I have a work truck that's 2008 and it's doing same thing. So it maybe a common problem?

Give the condenser a good cleaning with a hose. Back flush it from the engine side.
Another thing to check is that the cooling fan runs when the AC is enabled if it uses an electric fan.
GM used dropping resistors to run the fan in low speed. Over time the resistors would crack and break. The same symptom would occur, little cooling when idling.

Yeah the first thing you need to look at is that condenser fan. As soon as you turn the ac on that fan should be going wide open. If it's not spinning or not spinning fast enough, that is your problem.

And I don't believe our trucks have multi speed condenser fans. They should be either on, or off.

99% sure it is your condenser fan. I have put three on my 2008 (170,000 miles). Your description of the problem is exactly what happens to my truck each time it goes bad. Not very hard to change after the first time! ;)))

I just fixed this issue on my 08, it was the condenser fan that had died changed it out with a vdo replacement for $30.
