Ashtray Removal Procedure- Help

My 02 Quad Cab's ashtray (mine is a money tray), either won't stay closed or almost has to be pried open. I can buy a replacement assembly, but not sure what it takes to swap them out. Any info would be appreciated.

Get it open, it unscrews from the dash.

My cup holder does this where I have to slam it to have it lock shut, otherwise it keeps falling down, maybe I should look at replacing...
