Finally painted the radio bezel

I have been wanting to paint over the woodgrain ever since i bought the truck. I hate wood grain. I finally found time to do it a few days ago. I was actually planning on just smoking it with VHT nite shade, to give it black wood grain look which doesnt look bad. Well after i smoked it, it looked like poop so i finished it off with 2 more heavy coats to black it out. It looks pretty decent i think. Surprisingly no trash. It needs a clear coat which i will do after i do the door pieces sometime during the week.

nice and sharp , i have the silver and want the wood grain but i have different rear door panels than you guys . I guess dodge decided to make the megacab's different for the rear door's

wicked nice...Ive been looking for the 03-05 ones... cant seem to find any of them... my buddies diesel has a smooth finish... Any one know where to get them?

Thanks dudes. I agree it does accent the rest of the dash. My buddies noticed it right off the bat and instantly wanted me to do theirs. They didn't believe me when i told them it was rattle canned lol.

I agree. There have been very few vehicles that I like wood grain in...mostly luxury vehicles...Jags, Maybachs, etc. In a truck it just doesn't seem right. And that new paint you got on there looks sharp.

Well i got the door pieces painted up. I need to cut and buff them to get out the trash that decided to fall while i was painting them. I ended up having to take the door wood grain off the door panel because the paint was not reaching down the edges. I also painted the Red reflectors that are on the door. Cant wait to get it all put on. I'll post some pics up tomorrow when its all back together.

I kinda caught the painting bug and want to keep painting but dont know what else to do. I dont want to over do it. What other small things should i paint?
