Omg you are a life saver!! So epic!! Too extreme on the life saver but my knob is going to be unique!! Is there any other places also.... I am emailing him as I type this!! :head3: :head3:

just thinking out loud here... but would regular tranny shifter knobs fit the 4x4 stick?

Im courious if the mopar t handel like in the 09s for the gear selector work for the 4x4 shifter?

well........its just a set screw on the T Handle, so.....as long as the hole isn't too small....errr.....LOL - you'll be ok

Cool.... I have a question how the hell do you remove the knob on the 4x4 shifter.... I cant for the life of me

Wow Fatwombat, I never even thought of molding the 4X4 stick. If you could PM the info you get on removal and shift knobs I would really appreciate it.

I beleive (Hemi-Set-Up) you have to pop out the "What Gear am I in ? " tab to access the nut on the threaded shaft thru the Knob. Once off you should be able to use any other screw on or set-screw shifter.

Yep, just double checked the 03 manual to make sure and there is a pic for the NV241 Gen II and following write-up (sorry can't copy the PDF pic).

(5) Remove transfer case shifter knob cap.
(6) Remove nut holding shifter knob to shift lever.
(7) Remove shifter knob.

I once tried to unscrew it and it wouldn't budge!

Ha, Ha, I might change it to some sort of Billet Piece after the Megashifter goes in.
