led dome and map lights

swaped them out with these HID 6K WHITE HIGH POWER 4 LED FESTOON DOME BULB 211 212 6413 6429 578

man are they bright the one in the back lights up the entire truck i should have got red one for the front

i tried the ebay ones but they stoped working or started flickering every few months plus the map lights work when you push them!!!

i got the 20 some odd map lights. and the 45 dome. and then blue led's flush mounted into the map housing and dome housing ect.

How the hell do you get to the map lights? I have an overhead console with a sunroof control. I can get the forward screw out of the overhead, but how does the rest come down? It doesn't looks like the map lenses drop down.

dude, I had issues with those too.

you have to take that screw out and then pull.........I think. the LEDs are FUN to get in.

give me a few and I'll look for the thread on DT I had about this.

Sunroof Map light removal

not sure about the sunroof console since i dont have one but my map light covers just pop off. heres some pics i just snaped
put the flat screw driver in straight and them pry the lens down should pop out

I just read that thread on DT. So your saying that the overhead console itself has two clips that you have to pull like mad to get the whole console to drop? Or each of the map light lenses have two clips? Like I said, I unscrewed the forward screw, and it seems like it sags in the front now, does it just need some more persuading?

pull the entire thing out. the clips are next to the lights on the console thing itself.

So what is the bulb size for the dome light?

The map lights are 579's right?

I wanna order from superbrightleds....just dont know what ones to get
