Swapped the old carpet for some new charcoal colored carpet. It fits the darker color scheme I want to go with once I get new seat covers from Clazzio and such after tax time. If anyone has questions about removal or install feel free to PM me. Removal took about 45 minutes and install wasn't too bad. I trimmed the outside edges to size, put it in and then cut the bolt holes and wire holes.

Thanks man, me too! I was a little weary of the more brown color than the internet showed, but it looks better next to the gray interior for now, and hopefully it will hide dirt better! haha

Molded similar to oem, but aftermarket.

Didn't look for headliners, was hoping my wife could recover mine if possible. If not I'll start looking.

Looks badass. I want to replace mine but I'm considering going with the plastic instead of carpet.

So, once you got it installed it tightened up and no wrinkles? Looks clean from the pics

It's pretty spot on. my cutting could have been a little better. Sort of screwed up a bit under the dash on the driver side to the right of the gas pedal. I put a patch in there for now where I cut a bit too much out. For now it's just sitting there but I plan on adhering that one down so it doesn't move, as well as that lip of the carpet.

As for wrinkles, the instructions said to install it in warmer weather than what I had. I was in the low 60's, but it called for at least 70. With my black truck sitting in the sun it was pretty close, but I figure this summer the backing of the carpet will settle out a bit more. There's really only one noticeable "bubble" in the carpet on the passenger side. Operator error however...

All that said, I'm still super happy with the outcome.

looks good I thought about carpet but I've grown to love the factory plastic never have to worry about dirt or mud. soap and water and a little armor-all and it great no mattter how messy I get it.

as for the headliner get a can of fabric paint and it does a good job i did mine about 4-5 years ago along with a-b pillars hated the two tone of the 3rd gens but it still looks good today

looks kinda gray in the pic but it is dark black

Carpet looks great where did you get it from? Want to change mine out this spring when weather is warm, it'll look good with possibly seats from a 2010 I'm looking at from someone.

Icywhite: did you use the same paint for headliner on the pillars? Are they shiny or flat?

Nothing nicer than a new rug! Makes a huge difference in the appearance of the interior.

Nice Icy, looks great. Where'd you get the paint? I'll have to check that out.

EWC, I got the carpet from stockinteriors.com

Thanks karl, I dig it too. Couldn't give up my carpetting, even though vinyl is way easier to clean.

They will send you free color samples if you request. They don't have the plastic latch thing, but you can remove the one from your oem carpet and reinstall. I chose not to.
