So I just bought an 06 ram slt 5.7 hemi and the rpm gauge does not seem to reflect the actual rpms of the motor unless I'm giving it over half throttle For instance at a stand still in drive it's showing that I'm idling at 100 rpms. I know that's wrong my cuz it can't idle that low without shutting off. Is this an issue with the gauge itself or a censor or am I missing something

My 06 Mega Cab with the 5.7 has the same problem. When I connect any obd2 scanner it shows correct rpm. It seems like something in the gauge or cluster to me.
