I was having some hesitation with my 06 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi. Felt like the fuel delivery just wasnt right. I was going to change the fuel filter but couldnt find one. Any help here?

I'm having same problem, not sure if it's fuel related. Check to make sure your throttle body is clean. That would be a good place to start.

Yep filter is in the tank and is suppose to be a non-serviceable (lifetime) filter. Only way to really get to it is to drop the tank.

The filter is easily serviceable. Just drop the tank, pull the fuel pump and there ya go!
BTW it's like a $50 part from Mopar. and basically NEVER your problem.

Rent a fuel pressure tester, hook it up, tape it to your windshield, and go for a cruise. Watch the pressure.

Just had my tank down and the "filter" looks like a tea bag and I am sure fuel pump would go bad before the you would ever need to change it as far as I have heard.

if performance issues are due to low fuel pressure you have codes set and "MIL" light on, p0087 low system fuel pressure and/or p0089 faulty pressure regulater, if this is not the case most likely throttle body requires inspection and cleaning if sparkplugs are within limits.

I would remove the bed before dropping the tank. Just my opinion. It saves a lot of time and headaches.
