Got everything but the o2 sensors wired. Everything works so far, I had no problems getting my trinity programmed. I have full pcm and trans tuning so far, I have the performance 93 tune loaded. Waiting for the cam swap to pay for a custom tune. I can't test drive till I get it all buttoned up and the intake reinstalled

Took it for a test drive and it's way better then before. No abs light, and the tuner didn't have any vin mismatches and it didn't lock out the trans tuning like I've seen some people complain about. The only small annoyance is the 4x4 light doesn't come on in the dash, I must have a pcm from a 2wd. Minor issue compared to the improvements. I can already tell my transmissions days are numbered now that it's this fun to drive haha

The transmission feel is 1000 times better isn't it?
It's incredible how different it feels.

Yes especially on the top end. I had the sonnex line pressure booster on for awhile before this, so I was already used to the harder shifts. I took it off when I did the trans tuning though.

This was my 03 Ram. I did the 03-05 conversion, it had 3:55 gears. I put in and 06 Dodge Charger motor, comp 268 cam, hardened pushrods and 6.1 hemi valvesprings. Also had Pacesetter Longtubes. No cats, Hellcat mid pipe resonators. Cold air intake. I converted all of the ignition coils and valve covers to the 06 and up single coil connector. The tune was awesome. I added Chrysler 300 Srt8 seats and had the power to them hooked up. It was an awesome truck and sounded SICK! Haha

That's awesome and it sounds great! That's basically what I'm doing to mine. I already have longtubes, catless, S&B, and now the pcm swap. I'm looking at cams, leaning towards the comp 260 for better low end since I have a quad cab

Will the 260 give better low end compared to 268?

I saw a chart on here showing dyno numbers. The 260 increased about 30 hp and 20lb tq. After I'm all done I'd love to dyno my truck

Any tips on changing some of the parameters on the 93 tune to tide me over till I cam and custom tune it? All I changed was a 20% increase on the throttle

Now I'm having issues with my cruise control. It keeps going in and out, it never happened before the swap. Any ideas?

I pulled the wire from the sensors to the pcm, soldered all the connections at the pcm. Put the sensors in and wired them in. Started the truck up and had super rough idle and the truck wanted to die while driving. I found out people have trouble using Bosch sensors, so I bought a NKT sensor but no difference. With them wired in, I still have a check engine light, and it ran terrible. So right now I just disconnected them all together and it runs fine. After the install I found out you apparently aren't supposed to solder the o2 wires, so my last try will be cutting off factory connectors from a junkyard and try using those

I think you have something wired wrong. On the 03 what i did was basically make my own bank 2 harness. Because 2 sensors each share a single wire up and down. It's very weird how it works and it's hard to visualize until you kind of draw everything out on paper. I had to really create my own wiring diagram when I did mine. Adding pins to the pcm for the other signal wires. The ground can literally be spliced all together and run to a chassis ground. The other wires are wired a little weird. Like I said a couple share the same signal on one side and the other. Really look over the diagram. When sensors are wired incorrectly the truck will run like crap. And it doesn't matter about soldering them straight on. I'd reccomend actually getting the harness ends. It just looks better and is more functional. But go over your diagrams again , print out and 03 harness and a 05 harness and go over them carefully. You have something going on
