Well reading on another forum, i saw a guy do the 03 to 05 pcm swap. here is what he said.

"find a 2005 truck in a junkyard

take off the wiring harness..complete.... engine wiring harness...lights harness...the wiring that goes in between the fenders...and the long wiring that plugs up from the drives side wheel well all the way to the back lights... its not that difficult..just time consuming.....get the computer,05 pedal with the bracket or it will not sit on yours.....then email sean for a hemifever tune"

Also "I think for future '03 swaps, go ahead and do the fuel pump since the '04+ pcms are designed to run with an extra 10 psi of fuel"

Im sure hemifever will help with some info but i just thought i would pass it along to some of you guys

Wow, so someone finally done a swap. I have heard folks talking, but not actually getting it done. I guess I have always gotten bogged down when looking at the Instruments, cruise, lights, AC and the many things the PCM has it's input/output controls involve in. Post or PM me the link so I can take a look at what has been done. Thanks guys.

It all takes time. I'm still in the land of smiles for a while and then have to seriously look at finding a donor truck.
