Yeah I gotcha. Well the current mod list will include.
08 Charger Short Block and a Heads
Upgraded to 6.1 springs , comp 268h cam, pacesetter longtubes 3:92 gears and I'm converting to the new style ignition coils and then it will of course be tuned and have an exhaust kit built. I dropped the truck 3/5 on some stock 17s . I love it. It's gonna be a cool little truck for sure.

How hard would it be to mount the manual out of challengers to our trucks? A company already makes the bell housing... Just tuning, drive shaft, what else?

400whp na on a 5.7 will be a tall task. You'll still have a quick lil truck tho, if I had to guess I'd say my truck puts down 315whp give or take. We got a real handicap with the 545

You don't need a custom tune for an aftermarket cam? And with your EGR delete, do you have a CEL? 315 rwhp sounds pretty reasonable without custom tuning.

Would be an interesting idea for the manual. I'd totally do it. It would just take some measuring. To see where the shifter would sit in the truck. And then you'd have to get the input shaft made up for the driveshaft. And I will need a tune for the truck with the camshaft I'm going to be running. I went with the comp 268h cam , that's why I went with the 6.1 cam and pushrods. Also my truck doesn't come with EGR from the factory so that's not an issue to begin with. I really think I'll be over the 300 mark with a good tune if I can get it all setup right.

Sorry, regarding the tune and EGR stuff, I was ****** got ST-8. His Sig says that he's using a SC 3865 with a cam and EGR delete. I have said SC, and would love to cam it, especially if I didn't need a custom tune.

USAF, certain cams will run fine with just superchips. I know Jay Greene has a few specd cams out that run well on a can tune. An yes I throw two codes for egr. Trucks had a check engine light on since about 3 days if that after I bought it an going on 6years now still on hahahah

The motor itself has about 60k. I'm gonna put a new chain on it. I'm gonna leave the oil pump. It was pulled out of a wrecked charger that got hit in the rear. And as far as tuning, I have a guy who I believe is gonna do my tune for me.

Nice. Sounds like a good option for a budget build.

This one has about 60k the one that's currently in the truck has 242k

Lol yep. And it actually still runs pretty awesome. Has a tune on it too. It's given me zero issues and has ZERO lifter tick :). It's been a great motor. It'll turn into something better eventually.
