That cam alone wont get you there becuase its a mostly mid upper end range cam low end is compairable to stock.

9.6 is a great time. I have an 03 QCSB with a stock 5.7 and I run high 10.3's, low 10.4's with a best of 10.34. I think 9.6 is pretty damn good without digging into the engine!

I am curious. What is your speed at 9.6?

Wow! I have 20's on my quad cab and 3.92's, and you were almost a full second faster. Does superchips make that much difference or am I having a problem I should look into?

im not sure how much of a difference superchips to diablo makes but i was also surprised at what the truck ran with so little mods. the goals where to put 17s smaller tires and headers and try to break into the 13s in the 1/4 mile but i traded it in before it happened

For shift points yes but do you still want a custom tune for the cam or just run the SC 91 canned tune? if custom then you need to stack SCT on top of SC or if you are daring then DSP on top of SC. SCT custom tune (through Sean) has 7k limiter when manually shifting but keep the SC shifts when in D.

Also depend what DA he ran in compared to you and his 60 ft. Slips would be the best so we could compare and see where you're losing time

So if I dont want custom tune get a SC and I can Change my shift points what about rev limiter

Cant remember but i think you can go around 6200-6500rpm in D and Manually Shifting with Superchips 3815. Less familiar with the 3865 or newer. Its been a while since i checked my SC shift settings since it locked.
