2003 Ram 1500 Overheating

Calcium Plugged Radiator was the problem. Also found a cracked water-pump impeller during troubleshooting.
The symptoms was only overheating on FL turnpike 70+ MPH.
Solution, dont use tap water!

Clutch fan bad too, heres how i got mine off without tools. see attached...

Only 88k miles and impeller shaft fractured, thks chysler for fabricating real chzy cheap parts. see attached...

Pried apart my radiator covers reveals why not to use tap water...

Its good for now. Passed the FL TPX road test, but, my heater core is probably the same way and will change it later this year...

Tap water + heat = bad things. :)

A good lesson for all.

To those who still don't think it matters: When the service manual calls for distilled water - this is why.
