I have a 2005 Ram 1500 with a misfire at work.Customer brought it running bad today and I ended up with it.Has the 4.7 and is driving me nuts.I tried a couple of my good test coils, still there. It shows PO305 and PO303 misfire codes.Plugs look good.Finding out from the customer was an auto parts store reman engine was installed 3 years ago.I did a compression test finally, did not look good with 40 PSI out of #5 cylinder and 45 PSI out of #3 cylinder.Next step is pulling a head and the customer is saying that is not the case.#3 plug,I found what looks like a little piece of a valve seat in the plug.I know this engine has valve seat issues and this one came apart in pieces. How can I prove I am right and this customer is wrong?Boss already told me pull the heads tomorrow and it was ok with the customer to do this.
