Hi,
Was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on Ignition Timming.
I just bought a crate motor for my truck and swapped it out.
Its all back together now but before I go starting it I was wondering about timming. Does the Computer handle this or do I actually need to do something?

This is my first motor with out a distributor so a little lost.
From what I can tell timming is done when replacing the chains and such but since it came all set and brand new I should just have to fire it up?

Thanks in advance for any tips and help.

If it came as a long block complete and ready to go then you should be able to fire it up. The computer controls the timing and it is a large chain connecting the 2 cylinder heads
