I have a 2008 Ram Quad Cab, I love the sound of a great exhaust, but at the same time I drive the truck allot on the highway.....144 miles to and from work about twice a week....I love my music, have spent some money on subwoofers and I will change the other speakers in the doors in the spring, Im looking for a sound a little above stock, but not enough drone to make you crazy on the highway for 1.5 hours, and I need this truck to tow my boat, Im sure exhaust does not care about that, But when I leave the light with a little louder exhaust and the boat behind me it will grab some attention, flowmaster was terrible on my 4.6 Dakota...Well awesome but way too loud, havent modified anything since back in 03.

Have borla installed on my 07 ram and absolutely love it. Quite pricey for a cat back, but well worth it. Relatively quiet at idle and low speeds, but has a very nice deep tone under heavy acceleration, not over bearing though.

Well I don't have an Hemi but I just installed the Dynomax ultraflow cat back exhaust and really like it. I had a flowmaster on previously and it was too loud. The muffler was approximately 14" long and had alot of drone. The new dynomax muffler is about 22" long and much quieter. No drone on highway but you can still tell its aftermarket around town when you get after it. I called Summit Racing and told them I was looking for an exhaust that's close to stock but I wanted to hear it when I step on it. They told me to go with the Dynomax 19370 cat back system. This was only $231.00 shipped. Highly recommended.

I am also a huge fan of Magnaflow's catback systems. For your 2008, they have 2 systems that come with an 18" muffler, and another with a 24" muffler. The 18" is the perfect balance IMO between sound and lack of drone. Check out the 3 links below...

18" Single Side Exit...Magnaflow Catback Exhaust 2008 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi Single Rear Exit

18" Dual Side Exit...Magnaflow Catback Exhaust 2008 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi Dual Side Exit

24" Dual Rear Exit...Magnaflow Catback Exhaust 2008 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi Dual Rear Exit
