Ummmm..... not so much, with the stock exhaust, and even with the lt headers they are reallly about the same....
Now the cam made it sound a bit louder/beefier

blahh, i gotta get tires first, then i'll save up for a couple weeks and hopefully shortly after new years i'll redo my exhaust. I gotta get the borla too. I'm just most paranoid about the motor in the cutout breaking, but that's just the way I am..

Did you click on the video I posted.... thats the xr-1 then cutout open.... there is not that much difference if any. you can basically stick your hand through the borla, now headers + the cam (camshaft) made it sound even better/louder/deeper but the cutout and muffler alone are about the same

**** i thought that was a random photo haha..yeah i heard it close and didn't notice much change in sound. i don't know if the 4.7 would be any different..i guess i'll just stick with the borla and see how i like the tone of it before i commit to going with the cutout..

It started closed, that was through the xr-1, then I opened it..... Just PM me with any other questions maybe I'll do an idle video over the weekend so you can compair.

Cut outs are sweet, I had them on my old GTX and were awesome. i didnt' have the electrical switch on them, I was too cheap so I'd just go unscrew the wing-nuts when I wanted to be loud!
I know this isn't a for sale thread (hope it's not a big deal) but I have 2 cutouts from my old GTX i'm not using anymore i'd be more than willing to get rid of...
