If you have an 2002 4.7 you need to find an 02 motor. Time points and computer are different.

Best way to determine your application is to take the valve covers off.

Look at the timing gears and find a replacement motor with the same cam gears.

The rest of the assembly can be swapped from the old motor to fit your application. This may involve Exhaust and intake manifolds, engine mounts, and some sensors.

A salvage yard should be able to tell you of the motor they are selling you will fit your application regardless of it's origin.

Hope this helps.

I pulled a 4.7 from a 01 Durango and from what I found they are the same I was told that the PCM plugs need to be the same so that's what I went off of so hopefully it all mounts up and runs good if not I have 30 days to find the right one at least lol

Well we got the old motor pulled and drained the oil needless to say it wasn't very pretty now we just have to swap the fuel rails over and put the other motor back in!

It wasn't to bad actually just make sure you get all the bolts and unbolt the torque converter.....I forgot the T/C when I pulled the junkyard motor :)
