Bought an '04 Hemi Ram with 103k miles. Ran fine, but p/o had swapped in a Magnaflow and cut out rear resonator.
Call me old, but after 2000 miles I couldn't take the "drumming" anymore.
Bought and installed correct 'take-off' exhaust. At the same time, I installed a Sonnex a/t line pressure booster.
WOW! Now I have loads more throttle response (esp. at low end) and I can hear the stereo. I think a little back pressure is a good thing.
Also, the lazy shifting is vastly improved, with a noticeable reduction in 'gear hunting' while cruising.
I just may keep this thing for a while.
