Looking to do a after market Efan and was wondering what you guys have done and where you have put the screwing temp sensor if you are using one

Pwm controller/v6 electric fan install

Only difference is I have a 2017 so it’s a different fan than you need but there are drop in fan kits for a 3rd gen. You could use my temp setup

I just installed a flex a lite efan on my 1500 4.7 it said to place the probe in the fan up near the upper radiator hose. Mine works perfectly. Flex a lite also make another harness that has the screw in sensor that goes in the top of your block where the radiator hose is that has your air bleed set screw is in.
