Im looking to shove my dodge in my neighbors face after he called my truck a pos

His truck is a 2005 Duramax cclb stock weighs 8,400

Mine is a Mega cab 3/4 ton with Diablo 91 tune, 4.56 gearing, k&n intake, Gibson exhaust, 6 inch lift

Odds are if he willing to race you, he has a tuner on that DMax. If he knows to get the turbo spooled up before launching the truck, even with that POS Cheby he'll have you out of the hole and doubt you'll be able to catch him, guessing by the lift kit/gearing your rolling some decent size meats.

Yes, if he has a tune on his diesel, there is no way a gasser will keep up. You could try it though. Worst off you gotta live it down.

He sounds like a goon. The problem is that your truck is heavy as hell too. But he's gonna talk **** either way, even if you win. So you might as well do it, and if you win, prepare for the excuses to start flying.

On a side note, I raced a 3500 dually Cummins in my truck. Walked it obviously, even with my 35s and no tune. But that truck does weigh like 3,000lbs more than mine lol

I have a few friends with duramax trucks and a couple with Cummins. I know I'll loose to the duramax as they all have work done. One cummins is stock but he drives like a grandma anyhow, the other is crazy strong. I know my place lol

I figured a mega cab would weigh more than that with the huge cab and heavier frame and axles. My 1500 quad cab weighs 6050 with no load, that's going over the scales at the scrap plant and the dump. That's crazy that a megacab only weighs 250 lbs more.

I was weighted at 6500 at dump but that's with me, is ur truck 4 wd

i'd be careful about those Duramax's...they're fast, and have a GOOD reputation of being fast...It doesn't take them much..
