save another $100 and get a K&N. K&N is pretty much the best. Ive been toying around with trading my Vararam for one.

It's hard to find someone who has had multiple CAIs to compare them but I just installed my K&N and I love it. It was around 250 but well worth it. Already added 3mpg and 15hp. On top of all that it makes my truck sound like a beast haha

It came with a dyno sheet comparing a stock 2012 1500 to one with the CAI installed which showed the 15hp increase. I trust K&N enough to go with what they say. Plus i'm too lazy to take my truck in to actually get dyno'd haha.
