I plan to install a new water pump, thermostat, radiator cap, new gaskets all the way around. and new coolant, whats the best way to drain the entire system including the engine?

There is a drain plug on the bottom of the radiator. I'll check my service manual to see if there is a block drain plug.

Ok I cant get the picture loaded but there should be two bolts on either side of the engine just above the oil pan. I think they should be a 9/16 or something. Hope that helps.

I usually drain the radiator and pull the bottom hose and let it drain. I'll then either flush and let it run for a bit then drain again and refill with new coolant.
