Gotta take advantage of the good deal at Moes and just saw today is the last day. My question is what stall speed would I need? I have the 4.7l. I don't tow and I do mostly highway driving. I also have 4.56 gears if that matters? Other mods are the basic tuner, headers, intake and exhaust.

Also I do plan for a set of cams later on.

Thanks

We always set these up specific for your truck. With your mods, I would like to set you up at 2800. This will come up slightly after the cam swap, and it is going to bring your truck to life with those 4.56's.

Sweet. That's exactly what I was wanting to hear. I'm putting my order in now.

nice, I run a 2800 stall with the 4.56s and it's a great combo. used it pre-cam for about a year on mine. it'll wake her up that's for sure.

A nice stall, which i really should have got and wanted but with me towing i went 2600 TCI, but when it was time to do my other ride I didn't frig around 3000 Edge all the way (3.06 SRT Diff/ stock was 2.82) which was bang on for my Cam and Gears.

Congrats, that 4.7 is gonna fly, and 4.56 is awesome to have!

Edge makes a great converter. Put mine in a couple weeks ago and love it. Way better than stock and even better than the circle d I ran previously.

My newly installed 2800 made the truck even more fun to drive. You will love the extra zip your gonna find.

forgot to mention, if you don't have one already, pick up a trans temp gauge. aftermarket converters can/will build up extra heat. best thing it's too find the larger trans cooler off an 04 2500 it will keep the temps down.

Good advice. I run the one ton cooler and my temps peak in the 150's even on the hottest summer days.

I bought the dodge pn# 52029089AB from the dealer for mine and has kept the temps just under 150 so far on 95* days. Only has had 100 miles put on it so far.

on a 118° day in stop and go traffic, mine hits just over 160°-170° max.

Yes Definately Great advice and if you can afford the deeper PML Pan is good too. I have the 3/4 Size Height 2500 Cooler which has more rows than the Original one that was on the Truck, Need to install my Trans Guage and SRT Pillar I bought from Aaron but need the small fitting for the trans end first (B&M $14). I Imagine it will be handy when I Tow my 34 Footer.
