Does anyone have an idea on what the part number for the cooler is? I haven't had any luck finding one at the pull a part. Is the cooler for a gas or diesel? I have 2 different oem numbers. A 52029089AB and a 52028915AE..

they were only in the 03/04 2500's after that they switched to the smaller aluminum one that doesn't cool nearly as well.

Part number looks right.

also wouldn't want one from a pull a part place, if the vehicle you pull it from had the trans fry there could be debry in the cooler. you don't want any transfer into your lines.

Check your dealer for pricing, if they are over $250 order it online if shipping is right. 10% over dealer cost was $200 for mine.

The old dealer pricing a few years ago was $264, with them available online for around $190

Yeah cheapest online was $230ish maybe. I know I called my dealer and ran it through the shop for that price. Want to say list was around $300 now.

I called the dealer and ran it through our shop and it was about $225. They didn't have one and looked to be a couple weeks out on the nearest one. I did a quick search on eBay and there is one being sold by carID. It's aftermarket but for $140ish with shipping. Not sure if I should trust that one or not.

There are some very very nice coolers available in that price range.
