Can anyone tell me if it would be beneficial to take the cams out of a 2008 to 2013 4.7l and put them on my 2002. I mean the 08 to 13 put more power out then the Ho4.7 so the cams in those years should be better then mine and the HO4.7 Right?

I'm not sure exactly but I think the 2008 is slightly different than a 2002. I would just put a comp cam in there and know that it's new and would make power vs guessing on a newer engine. I could be wrong!

I second that. I read somewhere a while back that some cams are and are not interchangeable. But most of my researches are on 03+ 5.7's. just get a new one and possibly a warranty with it.
