What's the opinions on deleting my cats? The county I live in does not require emission testing. I have 2 cats with O2 sensors before and after on each. Also want to get rid of the duals out the back and single out the corner. Muffler suggestions NO DROINING

Well no cats will throw the check engine light unless you get a custom tune to turn that off and won't help for no drone either when ya change your exhaust.

I just did a cat delete on mine when I installed long tubes. I stacked the rear 02 sensor in non foulers and the light stayed off. I didn't know if it was worth it to take them out, but my old one wasn't worth reworking to fit on 3" pipes and I didn't feel like spending $100 or more on a new cat. I have a summit racing muffler and after cat delete and headers it drones like crazy around 1700 rpms. I'm not looking at the spin tech pro street 9000 muffler to replace the summit one.

Yea I tried the defoulers on mine and it just created another code that caused my check engine light to come on.

Wish mine would've been that easy lol I tried the defoulers, didn't work so I tried adding the steel wool like people have said and that created another code so I just got a custom tune from hemifever and it's been great since.

It took 2 non-foulers with steel wool on each side to keep the light from coming on with my truck.

After trying all the ********* ways to try and "trick" it and not having them work I think from now on I'll just skip all that and go the custom tune route. Not only do ya get the codes fixed but you get a better running truck plus performance gains you can feel for not much money.
