Check enigine light wont clear after changing O2 sensor

I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 hemi 5.7 i have check engine light on the code read P00058 HO2S bus 2 sensor 2 so i change the sensor on passenger side behind the cat have drove it over 100 miles check engine light still on and the code wont clear with the code reader it just says P00058 pending it also wont clear by unhooking battery is there anybody that can help me how to clear this code cause i have to do a smog check and they wont do it with check engine light on please help.

Pretty sure the cel doesn't clear from so many miles but a certain number of key cycles

How do you go through key cycles i just need this light cleared and dont know what else to do

im having a similar problem with my truck if you don't use mopar o2's they usually don't clear or they'll give you a different o2 code such as voltage too high/low. these rigs are very picky when it comes to electrical.

I would suggest returning your autozone one and calling dodge for the PN I have them but theyre for heady duty long bed trucks. get the pn and look at amazon they have new o2's for half of what the stealer wants

check engine light

if i take ou the ecu fuse and wait a minute and put it back in will this reset the check engine light after i replaced o2 sensor?

I am having same issue, called local dodge dealer they told me $103 for the sensor, and he said he couldn't give me the part number. Any body know where else to look for p/n for mopar o2' s
