Comp 260 or 268?

Also I know you guys hate generic questions on here, and i've also read the cam parts list thread.. but how much will the basic cam/springs/pushrods setup cost me? I know labor rates differ drastically, but if you guys could throw some numbers out, i would really appreciate it!

If you wait you can usually pick up all that pretty cheap. I got the springs/cam/pushrods for 300 new all in orignal package off another forum the cam new is about $350. There are deals out there.

$400-$900 on up depends on if you do it yourself and it'd the cam is new or used

Danny do you still use the shop on the base? If so you can drop the motor and trans in the k member on the magnum and make working on that a breeze. Just need a heavy rolling table to be able to have it on and lift the car off of it.

To the OP Choosing a Cam is difficult as in the End no matter what you will want More Power so choose perhaps one step up from the one you think will work as worst case its easier to upgrade the supporting mods than tearing into the Motor (did 4 swaps on the Truck).

Ken. Thats something i never thought of but the shorties unbolt at the mids real easy and once the front valance, etc is off and rad out I have great frontal access. The Cam is running great and for cost of the heads alone I might just invest instead in a Mopar LSD SRT-8 09 plus uprade with bigger shafts and the 3.73 gear from 3.06 would make the car launch quicker and put me in the 12's easily.

Comp 260 or 268?
