I believe I got a pic of the heads, it wasn't thick just a sticky gooy film almost on them. The valves and pistons looked fine though.

If it was just a film and not caked up sludge in and around the heads and valve cover then that's normal for higher mileage. I've seen in on most Hemi's I've cracked open that had some miles on them.

Well thats good to hear. Now I just have to worry about getting it to idle in drive cause it wont. Nothing like pulling across traffic to fill up and have it stall halfway into the road cause you stopped.

Well I took the tune he sent and bumped up the idle myself 200rpms and now it wont die at stops, still surges a little but doesn't stall.

glad you got it done. Once you get the tune worked out, do some runs and let us know what kind of improvement you get 0-60. How does it feel power wise?

The vid sounds good. How soon do you think you will be able to get the tune nailed down so you can get out and do some timed runs with it?

I have 4 tunes from hemifever right now to try and load up. He said from a tuners perspective, it looks perfect though. The fuel trims are right where they should be, the idle is right where it should be everything looks right... Its just the surging issue. I am going to reset the throttle body and see if that helps.

I am actually thinking of putting the stock TB back on and seeing if that hleps it out. I have had issues like the surging with my truck with only the ported TB so that might be the cause.

Have you still had surging issues even after getting rid of the knife edge?
