coolant questions

i bought my 2003 dodge ram 1500 5.7l hemi about two weeks ago and in this two weeks i have noticed the coolant level has already dropped. What could cause this? should i notice a drop in the fluid level within only two weeks? i do not see any wet spots under the truck so i doubt its leaking anywhere. Anyone have a idea maybe? could this be harmful to my truck?

What color is in the overfill tank? Could be the wrong stuff.

its like a pinkish red color. Not sure if thats the right stuff? in my old 98' explorer the **** i used was like lime green.

Check your oil level. Do you see any milky white color? Is the oil above the full mark?

Look at the thermostat area on top of the engine for coolant leaks that may evaporate when engine is hot. Just some ideas.

will do that, could this be a serious problem if my coolant is dropping quick? hope not , just got this truck. Also, what type of coolant is fine for a 03 ram 5.7l? is prestone 50/50 fine?

Check the cap on the radiator. Is there any built up, dried coolant on there? How hot does your engine run?

IT runs normal temp, just a hair below the half mark on the temp gauge.

i checked everything and not noticing anything to odd. My dipstick had like oil stuck or stained on the dipstick? do not know if that would mean anything but ill post pics of radiator cap and dipstick and stuff, if it would help. it is kind of hard to see but its seems as if there is like stained oil on the dipstick? not sure.
