I've tried Google-ing this and couldn't find a answer but does anyone know what the stock differential gear ratio size is on a 02 1500 4.7l and it's the 3rd Gen 02 not the 2nd gen

There are many different gear ratios. Do what usaf said and it'll tell you.

Definitely need those mods man. They make a huge difference from what I can feel on mine hopefully I can a tuner soon and see what that does for me and thanks for teaching me about tunes!

Thank you for throwing out the 3rd gen comment, a few people kept saying my 02 was 2nd gen.

Also haven't visually checked my ratio but it has the 3.9 tag so i assume it's 3.92

yea half way in 2002 they released the first models of the 3rd gen and alot people seem to forget that so most of the time and stores when im getting parts and they cant find the right one i say i have 2003 cause its basically identical
