Story time, back in the day my first cutout was a gas filler tube and I would just undo the cap using a rag. Couple of the other guys used water pipes welded in with the screw on caps. The big deal was split manifolds on our sixes. Any headers were something homemade. Oh what a bunch of ****, but it was a good time.
