The Y pipe is the biggest problem on these truck. The factory one looks like it was designed by a monkey.

the factory one is ******** its literally two pipes smashed into one pipe and they call it a y pipe. when i took a look at mine i laughed and said thanks dodge for using my money right

wait you want long tubes for a daily driver? you dont think that is a little overkill just for a daily? i would think that most daily drivers would just get some shorties and save the headache of replacing the whole y pipe

I've had my longtubes on since 2013 an it's my DD as well, Prob put about 25k miles on them.

And don't shorties make you lose low end power/torque? Nobody wants that.

My long tubes finally let me break the tires loose and helped the truck not downshift on hills, so it just makes it a nicer driving experience

Reason I'll be doing headers is the factory manifolds suck and break bolts. Already done both sides and have one leaking again at 137k.

LOTS of people install long tubes on their daily drivers.
