Alright I received my Superchips Flashpaq 3815 today.
Bought it off of Ebay, add said 99-09 dodge/ Chrysler.

The tuner IS a 3815 but on the back it says

3815 Flashpaq Tuner
Dodge Gas Trucks
2004-2008
Barcode.....
1378696

My question is this, If I'm in an 03 5.7 did I just get the fkntuner? From everything I understood and read the 3815 was the best and would work.

Did you try to mate the tuner to the truck yet? That will answer your question, but I know of multiple 03s running on sc

My 04(built in 03) works with sc

Got it updated, and yes it works fine the truck runs great. Thanks guys, I was afraid I bought the wrong damn tuner.

Truck update:

So far I've managed to get Pacesetter Ceramic coated LT headers with the matching y pipe, the 3815, and a volant pro charger CAI. Tmr mod done as well.

Next will be gears (4.56's) and Cam kit.

The gears will change the personality of the truck. So would a higher stall converter.

Yea im going with Circle D's 2400-2600...

Thought about the 2800-3000 but I really don't want to stall that high at a stop light in the middle of town town whip some a$$

2800 stall is hardly noticeable and would really wake up that thing. It doesn't raise the rpm that your truck leave at at part throttle. It only affects the WOT launch and will have a higher recovery rpm to really compliment a cam

A street edge 2800 would be as low as I would go. I barley noticed anything from it at all as far as daily driving. A 2400-2600 wouldn't be close to worth the money and time invested IMO and would net you close to nothing

Ask just about anyone with a 3rd gen or 4th gen that has a 2800 and I guarantee they say it's fairly mild in everyway while still proving decent gains

Agree in going with a 2800+ TC

Ran the Edge 2800 for a few years and was very mild when cruising and stop and go traffic. Going WOT from a dig is when things get wicked. Running a 3400 now and the cam loves it.

Thanks for the post pumpkin! that's what I'm going with.

I also run an edge 2800..it's got great street manners and like all have said..it's when you hit it when you feel it. I would go more aggressive like satin but I still tow a boat so I want to keep the steet manners as well as the heat down..
