I'll check it out but rain here only happens a few times a year and my tires are good in the rain as it is.

Yeah it rains during the summer but only in the evening. I am just hoping we get a bit more rain this year and less of the haboob's.

Yep, a few weeks ago in fact. nice straight laungches, no wheel hop, still spinning though but with a lot more control. Not affraid of goiing sideways when pushing the gas to the floor.

That's what I'm looking for, gonna pick up a set but was curious if slapper bars could get me the same effect?

From what I recall, there are only a couple slapper bars that work semi decently if you are going for a cheaper alternative. They wont be as good but they will help. Personally though, after looking at the slapper bars and pricing them out I decided to just save the extra amount and do it right the first time.

Slappers work almost the same as just clamping the rear. Its like taking small steps till the cals get tossed on. Best thing would be to just save up and do the cals on the first round.
