The 4G guys are just starting with more crank HP so the lill mods take them farther. From the few 4G trucks I have seen locally run were faster then them.

Whew, that makes me feel better. Seems like the 4g guys are getting numbers we 3g folks have been working hard for over the years. might have to add them to my hunt list, :)

There is a kid with an r/t running around here who thinks his truck with an exhaust, tuner, and intake (at least that's what he says he has on it) is fast. It isn't. So I can't imagine the stock ones are.

R/T's come with 4:10 gear and a 2600 TC, that gives them some teeth....

The factory RT 2600 converter is junk though. In stock form, they are lucky to cut a 2.1 60' time. Now with basic boltons, tuner, and converter, I know a few that are cutting 1.7 60' times which is much quicker than most of the 3rd gens. With your setup, I would expect you to be in the 1.8 range.

They aren't that quick, which is why I don't buy that any stock 4g ram is cutting a 1.6 to 1.7 60' time.

Yep thats why a slip is needed with a back up run if your gonna say you run X number all the time. I havent ran the truck since the new motor so thats why I dont say its a rocket ship, just quick for what it is.

LOL at anyone that says their stock Ram cuts a 1.6x-1.7x 60'. Absolutely no way, not without a converter swap.

Times shouldn't be allowed to be posted without a slip or something. Even a readout from a tuner is better than nothing.

I agree. I don't have time slips but feel she is peppy when she needs to be.

Very nice setup happening there man. Somehow thought you upgraded the tc many moons ago.

if you are going to post a time, post a slip, hell have another member post up that it's true, even a tuner clip or video is better than nothing.

I agree really good numbers are hard to come by and should be proudly shown. Actually the times I originally referenced, came from another forum and thought they were a bit optimistic. At the end of the day you ran what you ran....
